Mos Hiii

Mos Hiii, hip hop artist, engineer and producer from Chicago, established his music career in 2013. And now he’s ready to prove he’s a heavyweight in the Chicago music scene. His ability to paint vivid pictures of his life makes him a standout MC, and will undoubtedly propel his career forward. As Englewood’s rhyme-slinger, he mixes a “silky baritone” type voice with piercing, home-hitting lyrics.
Growing up living with his grandmother and older sister, Mos would experience many hard times throughout his childhood from surviving winters in Chicago with no heat or hot water to tragically losing his mom at the age of 14. These events grew him into an “outspoken introvert”. He feels for the lost lives due to police brutality and gun violence so he speaks to the youth who are counted
out at birth.
Mos has been working exclusively with VivaCarlito, film director from Chicago, to personify his never-ending charisma and character with their signature style of videos. They are consistent with the quality but no two videos are the same.
Mos joined the creative arts program ‘Donda’s House’ in 2013 where he would gain firsthand insight about the music industry from professionals such as No ID and Yung Guru. The program was founded by Kanye West and Rhymefest. In 2015 Mos Hiii joined the inaugural class of the very selective and prestigious artist development program ‘The Remix Project’ at the Lacuna Artist Lofts. He decided to take a break from college to completely focus on the program. The Remix Project was founded by Toronto’s creative education leader Gavin Sheppard and Drex Jancar.
Although a solo artist, Mos Hiii works very closely with Chicago artist Synful Art. They formed the duo “Mos Synful” in 2016 and released ‘Infinity’ the EP in 2017. Mos Hiii’s solo debut project “Fear What You Don’t” is scheduled to release Summer 2018. Even though this would technically be his first project, he is already building his brand’s reputation with an impressive catalogue of videos on Youtube. Below is the link to his Youtube channel:
